3 Breathtaking Destinations for the Adventurous Spirit

If you’re getting ready to go on your next vacation, then you need to consider your type of spirit. While some have a very quiet spirit where things need to be done in an extremely orderly fashion, others have an adventurous spirit where they thrive on trying new things. Check out these three beautiful destinations for your next trip.

Zhangjiajie National Forest, China

You should budget for at least three days to discover all the natural wonders that Zhangjiajie National Forest in China holds. This scenic area can be divided up into six parts with each one offering fantastic places to visit. Many people visit just Yuanjiajie, and you can ride a glass elevator to see the amazing scenery before walking across a suspension bridge. Others choose to head on to take the cable car up Tianzi Mountain where legend says emperors descended to earth, while others choose to ascend the mountain on the monorail train. The Old House Area is easily accessible by van, and you’ll want to go into this area to see the cliffside paddy fields. If you’re a United States citizen, then you’ll need to have a passport with at least one blank page that’s good for at least six months to visit China.

Machu Picchu, Peru

You’ll need to know the travel documents you need for a tour in Peru in order to be legally allowed to travel there. Machu Picchu, Peru, makes a great place to visit if you’re armed with the right documents: a passport and a TAM (Tarjeta Andina de Migracion), if you’re from North America. As an adventurous soul, you’ll want to hike the Inca Trail to reach this destination. You can also take the train or a shuttle bus. These ruins are a fascinating place to explore, but no one knows their exact origin. You’ll also want to hike the Huayna (Wayna) Picchu Trail, allowing you to see the ruins from above. Going with a guide is always the best idea.

Livingstone, Zambia

The main reason that most visitors go to Livingstone, Zambia, is to see the world’s largest waterfall. You can even bungee jump off the bridge near it. Walking across the narrow stone bridge allows you to see a circular rainbow in the water. You can go rafting directly under the waterfalls. You can also take a dip in the water on either side of the waterfall. Since this location forms the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, you’ll want to have your travel documents prepared for you to enter both countries.

Adventurous souls can find amazing things to do in these three locations. Pack your bags and make your reservations today as these amazing trips are calling to your spirit.
