2018 Fashion and Beauty Trends

2018 Fashion and Beauty Trends Spring Forecast

Unlike the weather, 2017 has played a very pivotal role in helping us forecast some of the most anticipated 2018 Fashion and Beauty Trends. While pixie haircuts with rhinestone-edged partings made a wave on the catwalks this season, fringes, cherry pop lips and glowing yet subtle skin swept us away in anticipation. Much to our surprise, denim on denim was welcomed with roars of applause, and so were pencil-skirts with slits, sheer and shimmers.

Mentioned below are some of the 2018 fashion and beauty trends that you should look out for, especially if you plan on staying faithful to the likes of Chanel, Fendi, Tom Ford and Michael Kors.

Pencil Skirts and Florals

Pencil skirts took the ramps by storm as designers such as Prada, Erdem, Gucci and Balenciaga fused abstract, checkered and minimalistic prints into their pieces. Abstracts and florals have been making a rage on the catwalks and red carpets since a couple of years to date, which is why fashion mavens behind Kaybeth.com decided to upgrade their game by fusing pencil skirts with floral prints for the trendy modern woman.

Can you guess what the modern woman would be wearing to office on a bright yet balmy, spring afternoon in 2018?

Streetstyle 2018

With loosely scattered hair and radiantly glowing skin, streetstyle 2018 doesn’t look bleak and focused just on clothing and attire. Clips and ombre partings have paved way for a brighter spring parade. Paired with the right accessories such as a pair of cat-eye sunglasses, and a vintage or plaid backpack or an ethnic drawstring bag, spring 2018 might cause a few heads to turn rightfully.

Statement Tees

The catwalks saw the appearance of striped tees which made statements in more ways than one. Sayings and slogans on t-shirts have been quite popular in 2017 as well. Lately, t-shirts with avid symbols and ethnic designs have been welcomed into the industry. A simple statement tee tucked into a pair of denim jeans and wrapped with a bomber jacket or plain blazer will probably the rage of 2018 spring fashion.

Stripes, plaids and checkered prints have been introduced as well, and stripes have had, in particular taken 2017 by storm. 2018 however may reminiscence on this trend, but we think that tees and tops will revamp themselves with a bit more art, abstract and ethnicity in print.

Beauty Trends To Look Out For In 2018

Super Model Skin

All the fashion weeks for spring/summer 2018 flaunt with the most basic glowing complexions. The models on the ramps of all four fashion cities paraded with the flawless ‘Baby skin’ effect created with the use of BB crème and primer. The natural glow would be the most sought after beauty trend in 2018.

Red Lips are back in Trend

Bright and bold lips popped with perky red tones ranging from tomato to raspberry and cherry is the second beauty trend for 2018. The French gal looks have been used by Pat Mcgrath at Dolce & Gabbana spring 2018 show.

Neon Bright Eyes

2018 beauty trends are all about bright and bold. The eye-pooping neons are back in action to add drama to your eyes. The hues of electric orange, aquamarine, and fuchsia pinks used at House of Holland while turquoises and electric greens eyes at Marni spring 2018 runway depicted that the upcoming year would have some seriously birght neons added to your eye shadow palette.

While these were the most anticipated looks for spring 2018, women have been pretty much excited and happy to realize that they could now pull off exposure by being content in their skin without being bothered for indecency.

Designers such as Dior, Dolce and Gabbana, and Fendi casted an impact on the catwalks with their sexy and loose evening dresses. Playing cover-up with different pieces of sheer and net never seemed better and exciting like this before.
